In early 1988 when I did my first hike to the top of Gold Run Pass, from the first moment I saw Mt. Larrabee with American Border Peak on the left and with the Pleiades to the right, I knew that for some reason it was the "Machu Picchu of the North". Looks like I might have been given the correct message....
